Deep ruby red in color. Fresh fruit flavors of wild strawberries and raspberries, alerting the taste buds of sweetness but finishing with a crisp acidity on the side of the tongue.
Garnet red in color, of good tonal intensity, complex in aroma with notes of red fruit and spices, full and velvety on the palate with a long finish and aftertaste. Its structured and full-bodied character make it an excellent match for meat dishes and for cheese. Serve at a temperature of 62° Fahrenheit.
85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc. With a dark ruby color, the Valadorna showcases aromas of dark Valrhona chocolate, roasted espresso beans, cedar, lead pencil shavings, and herbal floral notes that are balanced with a mineral and earth-driven character. On the palate the wine extends a dry and firm profile of juicy black plums with hints of spent coffee grinds opening up to a supple and savory mid palate which lingers. The fullness of the wine is defined by the elegance of the Valadorna Merlot vineyard and it unmistakably carries the mineral character of the Tuscan site.
100% Dolcetto. Ruby red in color. On the nose, fragrant, fruity bouquet with hints of flowers. This is a very versatile piedmontese wine and a perfect match for a variety of dishes. Ideal serving temperature is 16°C and it is best enjoyed between 1 and 3 years from vintage date.
Ruby red with purple hue. Intense aromas of ripe red cherries and strawberries, licorice, and clove. Blueberry and other subtle black fruit aromas emerge as one swirls the wine. This medium-bodied blend starts with ripe red fruits, huckleberry, and light toasted oak. The wine has ripe tannins and great texture. The finish is clean with bright acid and a hint of cherry cola.
90% Prugnolo Gentile, 10% Merlot. The wine shows ripe fruit on the nose along with notes of tobacco and spice. On the palate, the cherry and blackberry fruit is felt along with balanced tannins which give the wine suppleness and elegance. The finish is long and mineral in flavor, typical of the Sangiovese of Montepulciano.
